We’re called to set atmospheres.
Offerings of Worship began at a kitchen table in a small apartment, with a single melting pot, a notebook of devotionals, and a question we kept coming back to: what does it feel like to walk into a room and exhale?
The Beginning
A kitchen table, a notebook, a small pour.
The first candle we ever made was for a friend who was moving away. We wanted to send her something that would make her new apartment feel a little less empty. We melted down coconut soy wax in a saucepan, poured it into a glass jar we’d saved from the kitchen, and let it cool on the windowsill overnight.
She wrote back two weeks later. She said she’d been lighting it every morning with her coffee, and that the apartment didn’t feel new anymore — it felt like hers. We poured a second one. Then a third. Then a notebook full of blends, names, and devotional margins.
That was the start of Offerings of Worship. Not a brand idea. Not a product roadmap. Just two friends who wanted to make rooms feel a little more like home — and a little more like prayer.
The Process
Small batch, slow pour, every time.
Each candle is poured by hand, in batches of fifty or less, and left to cure for seven days before it’s ever boxed.
The Craft
A coconut soy blend, poured slowly, on purpose.
We use a custom coconut soy wax blend — a soft, creamy base that holds fragrance without competing with it. No paraffin. No mineral oil. No shortcuts. The wax we use burns cleaner, throws scent more evenly, and leaves our vessels easy to wash and reuse when the candle is finished.
Each fragrance is built around a single mood, then layered with top, middle, and base notes that earn their place. We use phthalate-free fragrance oils infused with essential oils — never synthetic carriers, never shortcuts.
We pour in small batches so the wax sets at the right pace. We cure every candle for at least seven days before it ships. We trim and clean each wick by hand.

Why Fragrance
Worship is a room you set.
We named this company Offerings of Worship because we believe worship is not only a song, or a prayer, or a Sunday — it’s a posture. A way of being in a room. And fragrance is one of the oldest, quietest ways we know to set one.
Every blend we make is built around a moment we want to slow down into: morning prayer, evening worship, sabbath rest, hosting a friend, sitting with a book. The scent is not the point. The room the scent makes possible — that’s the offering.
We don’t use the word worship because we think candles are holy. We use it because a candle is one of the few objects that asks you to stop, light it, and sit with it. That’s a small, beautiful, daily discipline — and we’re honored to be part of it.
