The rules of the road.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By visiting or shopping at offeringsofworship.com, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Return Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted here is the one that applies to your visit.

2. Accounts

You can place an order without creating an account. If you do create one — for faster checkout, subscriptions, or order history — you’re responsible for keeping your password secure. Let us know right away if you suspect someone has accessed your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse our staff, or are used for fraudulent activity. We’ll always tell you why first.

3. Products & availability

We do our best to keep the site accurate: correct pricing, current scent descriptions, honest inventory counts. Occasionally a candle goes out of stock between visits; we’ll let you know at checkout if that happens. We may also discontinue products, replace vessels, or update packaging without notice.

Our candles are decorative fragrance products, not food, not medicine. Don’t eat them. Don’t use them on your skin. Burn responsibly — the candle care guide has the full list.

4. Pricing & payment

Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay; we don’t add handling fees or surprise surcharges. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, where applicable.

We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Payment is processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.

If a pricing error is obvious and unmistakable, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you — even after an order confirmation has been sent. We try never to do this, but it happens.

5. Shipping & delivery

Orders are processed in 1–2 business days. We ship via USPS and UPS within the United States, and to Canada, the UK, and select EU countries. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Our full shipping policy is on the shipping page.

6. Returns & refunds

We accept returns on unburned, unused candles within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment method. Custom-label wholesale orders, gift cards, and clearance items are final sale. Our full return policy is on the returns page.

7. Subscriptions

Subscription plans renew automatically at the cadence you choose. You can skip, swap, pause, or cancel a subscription from your account at any time. If your next box hasn’t shipped, you won’t be charged for it. See the subscriptions page for plan-specific terms.

8. Intellectual property

Everything on this site — the names Offerings of Worship, Morning Mercy, Altar Smoke, Still Waters, Psalm Garden, Evening Oil, Selah, Golden Hour Prayer, Quiet Manna, and Sabbath; the product copy, the photography, the scent formulas, the candle motifs, the journal essays, the brand voice — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and design law.

You’re welcome to share links to our products and our journal posts. Please don’t copy our product descriptions, scent names, or photographs to sell your own candles or to train an AI model. That hurts us and the people who buy from us.

9. User content

If you tag us on Instagram, write us a review, or otherwise send us content, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to feature that content on our site and social channels. We always credit you. If you’d like us to take something down, email us and we’ll do it.

10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

We work hard to make this site accurate and available, but we don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Offerings of Worship is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Offerings of Worship and its team harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

12. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Asheville, North Carolina.

We’d rather resolve any issue with you directly. Email us before you hire a lawyer — we’ll almost always do the right thing.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
